Fenninger, crowned women's Super-G world champion at the FIS Alpine Skiing World Championships at Vali and Beaver Creek last month, continued her sparkling form in the event, which was rearranged due to poor weather conditions.

The 25-year old Olympic champion produced a time of 1min 14.59sec to finish ahead of Slovenia's Tina Maze by 0.16sec, with the World Cup leader posting a time of 1:14.75.

United States' Lindsey Vonn claimed another podium finish with a third place finish, after her time of 1:14.87 saw her finish ahead of Nicole Hosp.

Fenninger's triumph sees her close the gap to Maze at the top of the women's World Cup standings to just 44 points, with Maze currently leading on 1,145 points and the Austrian second on 1,101.

"I am in really good shape now and I want to show it every day," said Fenninger, who has won all three races she has entered after the World Championships.

"It is new for me to win in two different disciplines in two days.

"Yesterday was really special with the slalom run in the Alpine combined.

"It's so good to win a Super-G again because I have two gold medals at the Olympics and the World Championships, but won one World Cup Super-G before today."
